On occasion, when disabling the gManipulator plug-in in the Plug-ins tab of the Preferences pane of FileMaker's Edit menu, FileMaker may experience a sudden crash on Mac environments. This is a known issue.
When a developer seeks to uninstall the plug-in, instead of disabling it in the Plug-ins tab, we highly recommend to make sure FileMaker is closed first, then uninstall using the "uninstall.tool" file present within the downloaded installation package. Running this while FileMaker is closed will fully remove the plug-in, as well as any installed dependencies and extra files that were placed on the desktop, if present, and is generally the "clean" way to remove the plug-in. We are investigating the root of the crash condition for disabling the plug-in via the Plug-ins tab.
