Currently, we only offer the eSign Signature Capture plug-in for Windows machines using a Topaz device or Tablet PC. The reason why the eSign plug-in is for Windows only is because we can only develop a plug-in for hardware that has a valid SDK (Software Development Kit) or API (Application Programming Interface) and Topaz Systems (the manufacturer of the Topaz device and Tablet PC SDK) only provides a Windows compatible development kit.

As an alternative, the plug-in will operate properly with Windows running on the Intel Mac. If you are in a mixed platform environment, then you will need to install FileMaker, the plug-in and the hardware drivers/device on your Windows side, as the plug-in functions are for Windows only.
